The highly anticipated Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport monorail transit system vehicles were rolled off the assembly line at Chongqing CRRC Changke Company on November 28th, marking the first time in the world that a new straddle type monorail system solution has been provided for airport rapid transit systems.
This is the cross seat monorail transit system vehicle that will connect the T3A terminal of Jiangbei International Airport and the T3B, the world's largest single satellite hall, in the future. In the future, it will only take 140 seconds to travel between two terminals. Unlike ordinary rail vehicles, it is unmanned and can also link flight information, intelligently calculate passenger flow, and automatically and flexibly assemble vehicles.
The vehicle integrates OLED smart windows, LED smart lighting, intelligent passenger counting, intelligent air conditioning, intelligent evacuation and other systems. The vehicles will be put into operation on schedule next year, in conjunction with the T3B terminal and the fourth runway project.
